My name is Chelsie Jordan.  I graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I am excited to be starting a new position here at Longview and Southwest as the Art teacher. I am a lifelong resident of Hickory, and I love our little city. Giving back to my hometown as a teacher is like a gift to me.  I spend as much of my free time as I can with family. I love to watch sports and cheer on the Carolina Panthers every weekend! I really enjoy going to the games every chance I get. Some of my favorites: My favorite color is Carolina Panthers blue, favorite foods are steak, pizza and Sour Patch Kids. I enjoy going to art shows and the many places around here to paint pictures of my own.  I am looking forward to being the art teacher to all of the students and sharing my love for the arts.
